Educating CAFRE Equine Students on Advanced Therapeutic Modalities for Equine Injury Recovery & Performance

CAFRE Equine students recently visited Glebe Equine in Hillsborough, UK, to learn more about advanced therapeutic modalities for equine injury recovery and performance.

The focus of the visit was to emphasize the importance of a comprehensive approach to equine rehabilitation. The staff at Glebe Equine Centre demonstrated the use of non-invasive therapies for equine wellbeing, such as hydrotherapy and cryotherapy, using products they regularly employ, including INSTANTCRYO™ and the ECB water treadmill.

The students were taught how the ECB water treadmill is used for low-impact conditioning and improving joint mobility and strength of a horse in a safe, controlled environment. They were also shown how INSTANTCRYO™ treatments are incorporated into their equine recovery plans to effectively reduce pain and inflammation, accelerate injury recovery, and support the performance of horses.
